As Don Pollo continued to grow and evolve past our humble beginnings, we knew it was time for us to undergo a big change. Thus, our rebranding initiative was born.
We engaged a local branding and marketing agency called Marstudio, for help with this project. Not only were they familiar with the DMV region, but they had experience in the fast-casual restaurant marketing and branding areas.
They wanted to preserve some of the brand equity and history behind our old logo and transform it into a high-end icon that signaled the growth of our chain over the years.
Our new monogram features a “D” for Don Pollo as well as refined rotisserie chicken iconography inspired by the old logo. The new logo intends to mirror a window into the charcoal oven where our signature chicken is being roasted.
As part of our rebranding initiative, Marstudio has also rebranded various collateral, revamped our corporate identity, redone our website and breathed new life into our social media presence. They will continue to work with us in the future to expand our market reach and we are excited to continue this partnership for the growth of Don Pollo.
